Jessica Maniaci Biography
Jessica is a third generation Steamboat local. Her participation in the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club provided the foundation to Nordic ski at the College and national level. Jessica skied for Western State and CU. Jessica graduated form Western State with a BA Kinesiology and Psychology. Currently Jessica is involved in coaching and the community by coaching the Steamboat Springs Swim Team, Master Nordic Skiing, Development Alpine Team, Boys Mountain Biking. If this wasn't enough along with Jessica's rigorous training regime she finds time to help out with Tuesday Night Worlds, leading the ladies. Jessica has fallen in love with mountain biking. She participates in the local Mountain Bike Series and hopes to bike the regional and national level next season.
Jessica is an excellent asset for any athlete looking to improve: Nordic skiing, swimming cycling or general fitness. In addition Jessica has studied sports psychology and practiced it competing at the elite level both on the skies and the bike.

Luke Brosterhous
Luke is a 2001 graduate of the University of Oregon where he studied Philosophy and Business. Luke played golf and ski raced competitively while growing up in Southern Oregon. Moving to the Yampa Valley in 2001 to coach for the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, Luke coached Alpine ski racers from 2001-2004 before leaving and spending 2 years playing Professional Golf on various mini-tours in the U.S. and abroad. In 2006, Luke spent 4 months in the Kingdom of Bhutan as the guest coach for the Bhutan Youth Golf Association. Currently in his last semester of course work, Luke is pursuing a Master of Science in Sport Psychology at the University of Utah. Luke has extensive experience coaching and teaching golf professionally and is nearing completion of the PGA of America's Professional Golf Management Program. Upon graduation, Luke will return to coach at the Winter Sports Club during the 2007-2008 competitive season and consulting as a Performance Coach with Aspire Performance. When not on the hill coaching, Luke enjoys backcountry skiing and cycling and teaching golf on the range. Luke is very happy to once again call Steamboat home.
